Point (and Click) of No Return

Let's face it: Google Images ruins everything.

Screenshot belongs to Disney, of course.

Mighty --> Good advice, and that touch of hyperbole at the end made me laugh.

JC --> Welcome to the club.

To "Google something" literally has become a trope for just doing an internet search. Even if someone doesn't use Google, somehow saying "Google it" infers doing an internet search. I am sure the execs at Google love that. Frankly, I find it just one more annoying thing about today's lazy, blase, apathetic internet culture.

No search engine is ever 100% safe from this stuff, as search engines work by pulling in keywords from websites. Even if you only search for"zootopia", you're still bound to come across disturbing images if the site it came from contains keywords pertaining to it. But you can check to make sure the Google "safe search" feature is enabled. If it isn't, try setting it to "strict".

I think "Google it" has two meanings. It can mean to literally search on Google because it's the largest and most populars search engine, or it can mean to simply do a search for something. I still have to use Google to get better image results sometimes, but I typically use DuckDuckGo for everything else. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from Google or Bing (you can switch to it in your browser settings). It doesn't track you, and you can customize it to your liking.

But as for the image, I get you. I think I've seen more disturbing Balto images than Zootopia ones, but seeing it makes me want to boil my eyeballs.

Yeah, I know it's on all search engines (even one I found which was specifically designed to be safe has been infected). I mainly went for Google because when someone talks about internet searches of any kind, they say to "Google" it.

I don't even do main-engine image searches anymore unless someone gives me a specific title since... yeah, what you said.

Oh yes...I'm totally with you on that. And it's on any search engine when you look for images. Beyond the official licensed material, you get fan material. Tons of it...in all styles which could pass as "legit" (Disney-style, all the tons of CLEAN furry stuff, anime, chibi, etc.). And then you have that disgusting, deplorable and inexcusable stuff...the stuff which panders to sick fetishes...the fat belly stuff, the naked, anatomically-accurate stuff, the tons of UNCLEAN furry stuff, the *ahem* "alternative lifestyle" stuff, etc.

Stuff which insults and debases the material, potentially hurts real children, and is an affront to true fans.

Dude, I know where you're coming from on this. And I am with you on it.
