BYRON HOWARD'S ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT ZOOTOPIA (ZOOTROPOLIS) HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED, AND WILL BE POSTED TONIGHT!
(Check the questions page for an update on the approximate posting time...)
Okay, okay...yes yes yes, I know. lol "It's about TIME!" Yes, it is. But at long last, I finally received an e-mail from Disney Animation's Publicity and Communications department, and they included the answers to all of your questions (or practically all of them) from Byron Howard!
I KNOW you've all been waiting months for these answers. And, privately, I've been conducting many, many e-mail exchanges with them, trying to secure them for you, and wondering at the inconceivable delays. Which they did their very best to explain. And to ask for patience and indulgence. Out of respect to them, Byron and the company, I did just that. But it was frustrating to me because I know how frustrated each of you must have been. And I would like to thank you (and certainly they would like to thank you all) for your tremendous patience!
So while they are not posted YET, I promise you that I will be posting them tonight, after I get out of work. Tonight from my time frame (east coast of the U.S.). Stay tuned...they are FINALLY coming! (And, for those members on the French side, I will be submitting the English answers to your mods so that they can translate them into French for you!)

I think posting an article would be fine. Some people may find it
easier to read a list, rather than go from question to question. |

Thank you. As to doing it as a single article, I don't know yet. I
will have to discuss that with Mighty. |

Really impressed by this. You, Amy, and Byron sure did a great job to
work together and make this interview possible. And for that, I
congratulate all you three. Are you going to put the interview answers into a single article like I did with the Simon Wells interview? http://www.animationsource.org [...] rector_/258868.html&id_film=10 |

ANSWERS ARE POSTED! (Well, most are...there are a few that haven't
been answered yet. Please be patient. I have contacted Amy Astley at
Disney to request answers to those questions too. I don't know which,
if any, Byron simply chose, or will choose, not to answer. But I will
stay on this for as long as I can. And please enjoy his answers thus
far over on the feature page!) |

That's great news! I look forward to seeing Byron's replies.
On another note, might it be worth renaming the "Ask Byron Howard" page? It isn't an ask page anymore, so maybe we could rename it to something more suitable. "Replies from Byron Howard" comes to mind as an example. |
