Since the attack that cost him his job, he's been bitter, depressed and pessimistic, and sometimes snaps at others without meaning to. He tries to remain strong, though he's hurting inside.

History: He was born on March 23, 1975 in Rio de Cerradão, a city much like Rio de Janeiro. His mother was an actress and former model, and his father was an actor and director. Tadeu started acting at just a year old, and spent most of his teen years starring in telenovelas. After his success in soap operas, film director Alejandro Veado offered him a part in his movie Até a chuva (Even the Rain), which later won rave reviews, and won an award for Best Foreign Language Film; Tadeu won an award for Best Actor. From there he went on to star in several more movies, and also did some theater work.

In early 2016, Tadeu was outside a Zootopia movie theater at the premiere of his latest movie with his friend/co-star Helena Hunter, a timber wolf. On the roof of a building across the street, a ram loaded his dart gun, took aim at Helena, and fired. Helena fell to the ground, and Tadeu crouched down to help her. Helena then attacked Tadeu, biting and scratching him as he tried to get away. Helena was quickly subdued, and Tadeu was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Later, after he was released from the hospital, the film company he was with told him " We have no use for you anymore, you're history. Grab your check and get out."

After the attack he became bitter and depressed, often snapping at others without meaning to. He also had a difficult time trying to find another job. A few months later, he was walking out of a restaurant and bumped into a grey fox who was walking in. Tadeu apologized to the fox, and recognized them; the fox was Megan Blackpaw from the band Life's Shadows. The two had worked on the soundtrack for one of his movies years ago. After Megan recognized him, they stood and talked for a bit, she got an order to-go, and suggested they catch up on things sometime. They met up for lunch the next day and caught up on things.

Tadeu and Megan dated for several months but ended it, thanks to constant arguments, as well as angry outbursts and rage from Tadeu. They went their separate ways, and are no longer friends.

Relation to Zootopia: The wolf that attacked him was shot by Doug; He and his ex-girlfriend are friends with Gazelle.
