            Family: Most of Taelia's family lives out in Pine Forest. They consist of her father and mother (whom I have not yet named), as well as her brother Kato and sister-in-law Michelle, and their daughter Rose (who adores her aunt Taelia to no end).

            Love Interest: Nick Wilde

            Occupation: Sound Tehnician (or D-Jane, as she likes to put it)

            Appearance: She likes to experiement with outfits, but most of the time she dresses pretty casually.  Pictures provided by Holt5 (as seen on DA).

            History: Taelia tried her paw at being part of a startup band in high school, hoping initially to be a singer and/or play the keyboard.  However, she discovered a natural talent for operating the sound equipment and grew frustrated with the others' relatively tone-deaf efforts at it.  The band later broke up, but Taelia had found her niche and proceeded to find work with other groups.  She made it in on the ground floor of the group "Vixen," and was largely responsible for their climb to modest success (not quite up there with Gazelle, but good enough to sell CDs in some of Zootopia's music outlets).  She continues to work primarily with them, but maintains a freelance status so as to keep her options open.

            Personality: Taelia is a very free-spirited vixen who loves music and going where the wind takes her, and she's not afraid to act a bit younger than she is (she's in her late 20s, but some mistake her for a teen).  When she's not cranking tunes, she likes to go dancing or try out new restaraunts if they're in her price range.  If she has nothing better to do, she sometimes cruises or jogs through back streets with her ears open for garage bands; she's found some of her best customers that way.  She can be a bit impatient, but most mammals find her likeable enough to overlook her occasional snits.

            Taelia first crossed paths with Nick when he and Judy pulled her over for distracted driving; she'd gotten a little too wrapped up in her music and was swerving all over the highway.  When she later crossed paths with him in the grocery store, she remembered Judy calling him “Junior Detective” during their brief roadside run-in.  She's used that name for him on several more amicable encounters since.  Their relationship is, however, currently on ice after she learned of Nick's history; she despises confoxes (as they make life harder for honest foxes like herself by giving the species bad press) and, for reasons not yet clear, doesn't entirely believe that he's turning over a new leaf.

            Skills and Interests:

                        Music – She has an excellent ear, and is versed in a range of musics from the classics to the latest (though she prefers pop).  She has at least one playlist for every holiday of the year, and an average of two or more for any mood she may find herself in.

                        Technology – While not quite a technical genius, handling sound boards has given her  a working knowledge of wiring and basic computer hardware.

                        Food – Don't let her slim figure fool you; Taelia loves to sample any food that comes her way – especially if it's one she hasn't tried yet.  She is particularly fond of seafood.

            Dislikes: Dishonesty (she hates that) and Mexican food (don't ask)

            Connection to Zootopia: Nick's girlfriend, friends with Judy

            Inspiration: I first came up with Taelia for a scene (since deleted) for a later story, but eventually decided to move her back in the timeline and give her a more significant role.  Though I do not yet have much of a character reference for her, I got the idea for her career from Aelita in "Code Lyoko."  I borrowed the name "Vixen" for her band from the webcomic "The Conspiracy" (very dark, but a good read).
