Hello! I'm wondering whether or not the Watership Down TV series is any good? I watched the first episode after I finished reading Tales from Watership Down in hopes of finding another thing to become interested in, but for completely superficial reasons I stopped. I didn't like the bright colours. But since I still wish to continue my love for this series, I am willing to put aside my hate for the colours and focus on the story. Is the story itself any good?

It's not bad overall, but much more happy and cartoony than the book. You won't miss anything if you skiped the filler episodes.
I personaly find series 3 more enjoyable despite them not having anything to do with the novels.
