History

Blueberry was born along with her siblings not long after the final battle with Woundwort to Campion and Blackberry. She spent a happy younghood playing with her siblings and Bigwig and Spartina's kits.

Blueberry grew into a fine young doe,and her good loks and soft temperament attracted many bucks, including Mallow.Blueberry had yet no interest in having a mate, and spent her time with her friends, away from the nasty bucks.

However, she had a special bond with Alder,Hazel and Primrose's adoptive son,and her own half-brother (althoug she did not know it).She sypathized with him, about his torn ear and his not knowing about his real parents.Blueberry watched Alder grew more and more desperate and deppressed, until she could no longer stand his terrible state, and suggested they go on a journey to find his origin.

Alder accepted, and soon he,Blackberry and Littlewig,Bigwig's son, left Watership Down to find Alder's parents.

Their first place to go was Darkhaven.Blueberry didn't like that place, and as soon they found there is nobody to know anything about Alder, they left, much to her relief. However,Littlewig seemed to be impressed with the warren his mother was from, and Blueberry feared he would want to leave Watership Down and join Darkhaven.

From hlessil and other animals, the three heard about Moss' warren, which was built in the remains of Efrafa, and decided to go there next.

Moss-rah seemed as a reasonable rabbit, and seemed to somehow know Alder, but didn't know how,or where.

His mate Heather recognized him instantly. She was the best friend of his mother,Celandine.Blueberry was happy for Alder to know he finally knows who is his mother, but she was not a little shocked when they found out his father is Captain Campion himself,Blueberry's father.

After the previous shock,Blueberry wanted to return to Watership Down. They found out about Alder's origins, and had nothing more to keep them on the road. She wanted to ask her father how did he not tell her and Blackberry about having another son,and she missed her home warren.

However, both Alder and Littlewig seemed distacted on their way home, and Blueberry was curious about it.When she tried to tlk to them, they didn't tell her anything, and pretended they were alright.

The whole warren was shocked about the news that Campion is Alder's real father, even Campion himself.Blueberry was, however, happy about having another brother, and thought everything was okay now.

It wasn't.

Alder was even more distacted and thoughtful, and he soon declared he was going away, joining Moss' warren.Littlewig also expressed his wish to leave and join Darkhaven.

When her best friends left,Blueberry felt lonely without them. She seaked comfort in Mallow's hands, and she eventually became his mate. However, nobody ever filled the emptyness in her heart that Alder and Littlewig left.
