Personality: Arvense is a difficult character. He can be very outgoing and sociable at times but only when he´s around the ones he knows and really trusts in. Around strangers he often acts cold and doesn´t really talk to them. He´d do anything to protect his friends and likes to make them happy. Is calm and cool yet collected when angry. He is smooth-tongued, ingratiating, charming, polite, and courteous.

History: Not much is known about his life before he ended up in Nahlvao. Life in his original warren was fine until a Nahlvao patrol (led by the coldhearted and ruthless General Saxifrage) came upon it. They demanded to see the leader of the warren. The leader (Arvense's sister Hesperis) came out, unafraid and prepared to fight. General Saxifrage advanced toward her but Arvense blocked their path, trying to protect his sister. That didn't work, as Saxifrage pushed him out of her way and knocked Hesperis to the ground, blinded them, and tore her throat out. The patrol rounded up the rest of the warren members, and took them to Nahlvao as prisoners. The warren was just as quickly annexed as a Nahlvao outpost.

     Once he and his warrenmates were there, the torture began. Being new prisoners, they recieved little to no silflay time. As time went by his former warrenmates died from starvation, and soon, he was the sole survivor.

     He fought to stay alive, living on nothing but the tree roots in his prison-burrow. He soon started to love General Saxifrage despite that she killed his sister so cruelly. Not love in a romantic sense, but in the sense of choosing goodness and forgiveness over his hatred of her. Eventually he and Saxifrage became mates, and soon they were expecting.

     Arvense was going to be a father. But someone had other plans...

     An officer by the name of Thrennion also loved Saxifrage, but when he found out that she had chosen Arvense as her mate and that they were expecting, a jealous Thrennion decided he would kill him. Thrennion showed up at Arvense's prison-burrow, and clawed his throat; Arvense died minutes later.

     When General Saxifrage found out from another officer, Thrennion was de-ranked.
