______________________________________________________________________________
Personality: She is cold-hearted, very cunning and sly; heartless, unyielding, unforgiving, unhesitating, false-hearted, and as merciless as can be. When luring in soon-to-be prisoners, she puts on a facade of kindness, hospitality, compassion, and coquettishness, showing no sign of her true self. Though her officers are completely loyal to her, she is still suspicious and wary of all of them. Death and bloodshed do not faze her in the least. She kills as calmly as one tosses a wrapper.
History: She was born the runt of her parents' litter in a warren that looked down upon runts. She grew up to be bigger than her siblings, however. Though she was bigger than them, no-one forgot that she was the runt when she was younger.
After a few years of mistreatment from her warren, she left, wanting to get back at them. As she wandered, thinking of how she could get back at the warren that had so unfairly mistreated her, she heard stories of a General Woundwort and a place called Efrafa. She liked what she heard, but thought she could do better... and there was her idea. Some time later, she came upon the remains of Efrafa. After she had checked it out, she set out to recruit officers for the new warren, which she named Nahlvao.
Nahlvao, under the rule of General Saxifrage, became a much worse place than it once was; rules were a LOT more strict, and punishments more harsh. If a prisoner (kits included) breaks a rule (off their mark, etc.) even on accident, they get NO second chance whatsoever; they are publicly sacrificed, fed to a fox who had allied with General Saxifrage. If an officer (captain, Owsla, etc.) breaks a rule, they are to be brought to Saxifrage's burrow, where she kills them, no questions asked. As well, more guards were posted around the place. Escape from it was now impossible, with more guards around the perimeter, both inside and outside, plus two stationed outside every prison-burrow. The Mark system was improved upon, now going by colors/markings.
Outsiders are not allowed in under ANY circumstances, except either if they are escorted by a patrol, or if they wish to become an officer. Anyone who wishes become an officer must have a captain assigned to them at all times for at least three months.
Eventually, the power went to her head, and she became unstoppable.

Other punishments are as follows:
*If a warren buck attempts to mate with a doe belonging to a warren officer, that buck is to be killed where they are.
*If anyone tries to escape, when they are caught they are to be blinded, taken around the warren for viewing, and then publicly killed.
*If any warren member tries and fails to overtake a captain, everyone is to watch their execution.
*Anyone attempting to start a rebellion, their family shall be killed, and their belly cut open to bleed out.

Nick numbers sound like a better system than the leaves system Feather
and I talked about. The higher the number of nicks, the higher the
rank. The leaves thing, come to think about it, does seem flawed. Any
outsider could easily fake being an officer. And besides, no rabbit
would nick their own ears. So to answer your question, ear nicks. |
