Parents: unknown

Sibling: Roseroot

Voice: VV Brown

Mate: not even remotely interested; plus it's against the rules of Darkhaven, and she is intensely loyal to it; but is starting to develop feelings for Reedmace (c) JayTodd

Friends/allies: Reedmace (c) JayTodd, Shamrock (c) Troll Berserker

Enemies: Arrow (c) JayTodd, any Watership Down rabbit

Dislikes: her sister Roseroot, Arrow (c) JayTodd, liars, any Watership Down rabbits

Personality: She is fearless and is willing to defend her warren, but is sufficiently obedient and restrained to do so only if the order is given. She is intelligent, more so than her sister. Can be a bit stubborn at times. She can be cold toward strangers at first, but if others trust them, she trusts them. Is an exceptional judge of character, and can tell when someone is lying.

History: She and her sister Roseroot were born in a burrow in a grassy, open area. Their mother was a mixed-breed rabbit who escaped from their hutch, and their father was a wild rabbit; unfortunately he died days before Oleander and Roseroot were born. Roseroot was first to be born; she seemed a bit different and got the most attention. Oleander got scolded for everything since her older sister got more attention, so Oleander grew to hate her. A few months before they were a year old, the two were eating separately not far from the burrow, when a hawk swooped down and grabbed Roseroot in its talons. Oleander watched as the hawk carried them off, hoping it would finish Roseroot off. Lucky for Roseroot, she freed herself. Since then, they have not spoken to each other.

Finally tired of feeling unaccepted, she ran off and joined Darkhaven, where she feels she fits in. She soon allied with a fellow Darkhavener named Reedmace. For some time they were trained in defense and fighting, and the two became friends along the way. As more time went by, the two started to develop feelings for each other.  A couple years later, Oleander caught wind of her long-estranged sister Roseroot being in love with someone. Reed gave her the idea to capture this other rabbit to make Roseroot's life miserable. With that, both Oleander and Reed set out. That backfired however, when Roseroot and another rabbit (Arrow) came looking for Hay-Oak (Roseroot's love interest at the time). Arrow found Oleander and confronted her, and that escalated into a fight. Arrow dodged all O's attacks, knocked her to the ground, pinned her forelegs and back legs to the ground, and bit her neck. Not to kill her, just enough so she wouldn't EVER mess with Roseroot or Hay-Oak again; she has not done so since. Before Reed could get to Oleander, Arrow ran off to meet up with Roseroot and her soon-to-be mate.

Relation to WsD: Lives in Darkhaven warren; her sister and their mate live on Watership Down
