Mental
Personality: Straight-forward and determined, Rush is composed in many ways. He can border on arrogant, as is one of his greatest problems, but is good-hearted in the end. Like Lindri, he cares about the warren and is greatly intolerant of rebellion. He is much more willing than most to follow Gentian to any length and greatly susceptible to corruption. He refuses to admit to being wrong under all circumstances – a habit that evolved from being forced to keep control over the owsla during Gentian’s inactivity. He has taken it upon himself to act as a sort of chief in Gentian’s absence and has a sense of self-entitlement, and has the idea that if he wants it, Rush should have it – but would not go to the extents that other owsla members may, such as litter-destruction. He has an air of honor to him, but his intentions aren’t exactly always out in the open. He refuses to accept being wrong and, as a result, will follow Gentian to any length regardless of the consequences.

History:
Rush was born near a river and, in a flood, his siblings and parents died. He was washed away and was found by a fox of all creatures – a vixen who had lost her cub in the same flood. She, overwhelmed with grief, took the kit in as a substitute – an attempt to fill the void produced by her lost baby.
And thuse for the first month of his life, Rush was raised by a vixen in a rather large cave. This was the life Rush grew used to: thick forest and strong senses of smell and sight.
Soon, Rush left his ‘mother’. She warned him before, however, not to talk about her – and to avoid fluent speech in Vulpin. If he was to speak it, it would be only in certain life-or-death circumstances.
And thus, Rush went on his way.
It was a copse near Efrafa that he was raised in, the same one which their captain Mallow died. He left toward Watership Down but, uncomfortable in the open and with the thought of being so high up, he veered around to the heather. Here he met up with Gentian, who had already settled his warren. Rush then made his way up the ranks. He made himself a sort of temporary chief without any say so of Gentian when the chief became inactive, and when the warren began getting too out of hand, Rush went on a patrol with Gentian and Lindri toward Watership. He too fed with the rabbits on the down at one point, and when Gentian grew obsessed, Rush saw he was incorrect in his full support of Gentian. Rush chose not to think about that.
Rush decided that, no matter what the length, he would help Gentian to obtain Thethuthinang.
