Personality: Strong-willed and not one to admit defeat to her foe. She is quite proud and keeps her head held high. Juniper often delivers biting words to those who disrespect her, and trust me, she demands a LOT of respect, even holding herself in higher regards than she should. She hates the fact that she's a doe because does do not have as much respect as their male counterparts - if she had the option to, she would've been a buck from birth by choice.

Despite her being quite difficult, Juniper does have a soft spot, especially for young kits. She states it has nothing to do with her being a female as she's quite unsure she wants to be a mother (Juniper acknowledges that she would probably be a terrible mother anyways). She just has a fondness for the innocent things in life, and sometimes even regrets having to grow up before her time.

History: Juniper was born in Sandleford, but was taken away by her father at a young age. Through her mother, Juniper had many half-siblings to call her own, but she was indifferent to them besides her own littermates. She knew who Bigwig and Buckeye were, but knew little about them other than when her mother made mention of her older sons.

Bramble returned to Sandleford undetected with the intent of taking Lavender and their litter back with him to Efrafa. However, Lavender was adamant to stay in Sandleford with her kits. Fearing General Woundwort's wraith when he returned, Bramble was under the impression that if he brought one of his kits back with him, then the general would spare him. So he stole Juniper away from her litter during the night, and fled with her back to Efrafa.

Predictably, Woundwort was not impressed by Bramble's insubordination and was killed for it. Juniper was planned to die as well, but Woundwort ended up deciding against it. Instead he kept Juniper to become a breeding doe once she achieved maturity. Despite Nelthilta and Hyzenthlay trying to keep a good influence in Juniper, it hardly worked. Living in such a tense environment from a young age, Juniper began to adopt the cruel methods of Woundwort, all the while looking up to him. However, he regarded her little, so Juniper made sure to toughen herself up to win the Chief Rabbit's eye. She also looked up to Campion, and dreamed about being part of the Oswla, though Woundwort forbade it.

When Bigwig snuck the does out from Efrafa, Juniper stayed on her own accord, not swayed by his plight even though she recognized him to be her brother. She yearned for Woundwort to call upon her to serve him, but he still refused to see her as anything more than a breeding doe, no matter how strong her loyalty to him was.

She participated in the battle at Watership Down, but once Bob was brought on the scene, she fled, though later she returned to find Woundwort. Since he had survived the attack, Juniper followed his trail. She ended up encountering Buckeye while touring Watership Down, and he made the plea for her to stay behind with them. Juniper ignored him and continued to search for Woundwort.

By mere luck she did find Woundwort as he was traveling to find Darkhaven, and she decided to stay with him. Though she still would have to work hard to become anything more than a doe in his eyes, the strength of her loyalty to him has convinced Woundwort that she could be a good ally to him. She accepted her feather to enter the warren, and continued to stand by Woundwort's side through thick and thin.
