Crabby is a bit of a grouch and sometimes has a temper when being teased on or bothered,but he still has a soft side.He likes to help others,be around his friends and have adventures.When there's a fight,he is very brave and courageous,but when it's one he cannot win,he gives up.When it comes to orders and commands,he's very obediant,but not when it's too strict.He acts like a dimwit and ignores.

Crabby was born,after his brother,Gan, and after his  mother died,giving birth to him.He never met his father,so he had to live on his own with his older brother,Gan. A few weeks after,they got attacked by men and their hunting dogs.That's when Gan and Crabby got separated.Crabby then got lost.He went to search for his brother,when he heard russeling in the bushes.he thought it was his brother,but he thought wrong.He came across a weazel and attacked him.Bigwig and Hazel appeared,along with Hawkbit,Dandelion,Fiver and Keehar.They made the weazel go away,after their big fight,then as Crabby thanked them and was about to leave them,Hazel invited him to stay at Watership Down.Crabby accepted and joined them.

At sundown,they reached Watership Down and Crabby met some new friends.Like Pipkin.He got along with him,by playing games with him and talk  a bit about himself.He felt like he finally found a little brother for him and that he wasn,t alone.He then met Hannah the mouse.They shared food together and would make exchanges.With Dandelion and Hawkbit,he liked Dandelion's sense of humor and stories,but Hawkbit couldn't stop teasing him so it bothered him.After an argument,Hazel stopped their little charade and Crabby decided not to get involved with that rabbit.He met other people like Blackberry,Primrose and plenty more.He felt like he was already in a big family.Including when he was with Hazel.He was like a father to him.

One day,when he was going to search for food with Hazel,Fiver,Dandelion and Pipkin,they heard voices somewhere.They went to investigate and they saw the Efrafan patrol,commanded by Vervaine.They quickly hid and stood quiet.Hazel told Crabby who they were and who were their leader and Crabby did not like the sound of it.He knew he had to stay away from them.Later,when they have reached the farm field to grab their food and took them back to Watership Down,Crabby told his whole adventure to BigWig and all of his friends.he sounded like Dandelion,telling his usual stories and everyone appreciated it.Crabby felt happy.Not just to find a new warren and a family but also to have people understanding him.
