I think true and lasting peace on a place like this, with a population so varied in age (with the majority, including the majority of staffers, being minors), is quite impossible. Many people DO try (including me), but as the old saying goes "you can't please all of the people all of the time". Sometimes, "all of the people" consist of touchy, easily-offended, and/or irritating people; others are bullies; still others just don't care about consequences. The rest try to deal the best they can, but often (like me) get caught in a very ugly crossfire.

However, I appreciate your sentiment, and I HOPE that peace will reign. I have given Grey Wolf my assurances that I have NO interest in drama (and never have). But, because I am an opinionated person, and one willing to speak my mind rather than hide behind a facade, that usually lands me into conflict with those who are too pig-headed to leave room for more than one point of view, and anyone getting more attention than them.

I know there are some people not happy about my return. In fact, I know specifically who most of those people are. One is eager to try to find a way to get me rebanned. That I know for a fact. He's watching every single thing I say and do on the forum, hoping so very bad that he will find what he needs. I have already advised the staff. But I am NOT going to walk around on pins and needles, or change who I am, to suit him and his disturbing fixations. I will simply try to live by my assurance to Grey Wolf. And then, HOPEFULLY, Grey and the others will realize that trouble often starts in less-than-likely places...often where it is least looked-for or anticipated.

"For now"? And what is that supposed to mean, exactly? Do you realize how unpleasant that whole "Tribunal" thing was? For me and some others? Do you realize how badly that small group of troublemakers bullied, harangued and harrassed (and trolled) me and anyone who was openly friendly with me? I took the ban in good form, and kept away from AS over the six months, and kept quiet about it. Meanwhile, some of those troublemakers, the "good people" who are so celebrated here as such "wonderful human beings", started trolling the site, got banned, and then began a troll & hack campaign against it. The "good" people. How very ironic. I don't find any aspect of the situation, from the get-go, in the least way amusing, Anton.
