Halloween 2015: Mad Dog the Wereraptor
Hello there, my friends and watchers. Long time no see.
As ya see here, I've posted the little warm - up sketch, because I hadn't drew and posted anything on this site for the last two months. Ya know, studies, bachelor and stuff...
Here it's the Halloween - themed pic, in which or well known Mad Dog has transformed himself into the Wereraptor form. Damn, too many Jurrasic Park and other dinosaur - related movies and series watched recently. :/ Anyway, I wanted to blend the partially scienctific accuracy in depicting Velociraptors and their related species with the uniqueness of whiny Air Pirate's body shape. And I was lazy enough to draw his characteristical clothing, because... Why the average Raptor, especially the Wereraptor, would need any clothing when it'd been covered in feathers and scales?
BTW, I'm not here the FeatherNazi and I like both versions of the fast, cunning and agile dinosaurs. I just wanted to do the simple sketch - that's all ;P
