After airing the pilot movie "Plunder and Lightning", Is it no longer airing on TV?
I'm wondering if the uncut movie was aired only for once and then we watch as we know the Syndicated version (the edited version).

Yes. It only aired once as a complete movie, and one scene (involving
Kit hearing Rebecca sing Molly to sleep just after he and Baloo left
to go sleep in The Sea Duck) was cut from the 4-part version on DVD. |

I will confirm that the movie Plunder & Lightning was only aired on TV
for once in a Disney lifetime - don't ask me why, it's beyond me why
they would only show it once and then have a Syndicated version of it,
but luckily someone recorded it when it aired (Thank God for them,
whoever they are, I'd like to shake their hand!) and made it available
on the Internet, I believe it was first on Spinnerstuff, then on
MegaUpload (where I downloaded my copy from) and finally on YouTube
where I uploaded it to, so to make accessible to millions of people! |
