One song has been cut out from the pilot (Home Is Where The Heart Is)
Although, there are two more songs which are part of the Disney Afternoon soundtrack, which are "Friends for life" :

And "Monkey in your tank" :

I don't know if you can answer this, but : why were these songs produced? Was there any intent to include them in some episodes? (is sure seems as if "Monkey in your tank" could have been used for the episode "For a Fuel Dollars More")
Jymn Magon
Yes, "Monkey in your tank" was written for "Fuel Dollars," but it was not used (probably for time reasons). I seem to remember the Silvershers writing that. It was supposed to be Louie's ad jingle. I don't know where "Friends for Life" came from.

Friends For Life seems to be written for For Whom the Bell Klangs.
During my research I came across a lyric sheet from Silversher &
Silversher (the writers of the TS songs) from that song with a small
notation from Jymn which states the title of that episode. |

Was "Friends for Life" written for "The Road to Macadamia", going
along with the Bing Crosby/Bob Hope parody? |
@Jymn Magon: I think portions of the jingle were used for non-Disney Afternoon syndication ads for that episode; but I have no evidence for it on my own, so who knows. I do know that the jingle was inspired by the Texaco jingle since there is a gas station attendant animated cell that was sold on e-Bay many months ago and it mentioned that in the summary of the animated cell.
