Hi Jym!

 

Im doing a paper on my favorite tv series... which just happens to be The Gummi Bears!

 

I have a few questions...

 

Ive read that Michael Eisner was the one that came up with the idea after watching his kid eating gummy bears... Is this true? If not how did the idea come to be?

 

How was your involvement and creative imput with the conception of the show at the begining?

How was your involvement with the development of each season?

How did it get greenlighted?

Why was the show cancelled after its 6 season run?

How did the success of the Gummi Bears impact the creation of the rest of the cartoons that turned into Disney Afternoon?

Do you feel the ending for the series was satisfying? Do you feel there was a closure to the myth of the ancient gummis and the bears finally finding more about them?

Do you feel that tv cartoons are up to pair with the quality of the cartoons in the late 80's and 90's?

What are you up to these days?
