Whom was the war between
How was the war started
Who won

Also I've wondered why are there are equivalents to United States and the Soviet Union in the TailSpin universe but not Germany.

Who said there wasn't??? The Great War DID take place in the European portion of the Tale Spin world. Who won?... the good guys.

Yes, there was a German equivalent in the TS universe. It was called Hounsland, which was mentioned in the comic "The Dogs of War".

I guess that Thembria is equivalent for Germany too. Look at Spigot, he's pure stereotype of old German officer.

If Great War didn't take place in Cape Suzette we couldn't seen Rick Skye and his squadron. Some fans suppose that Thebria and Usland were allies in this war but it's impossible to check, all the mentioned countries are fictional at least.

But if there was an equivalent to Germany was was it never mentioned? Was it destroyed in the war?
