I had another one for Jymn if you don't mind to post it for me.

It goes like this.


Dear Jymn first off thank your for answering my questions, and the ones for all of us so far. I can understand you cant revile much on Kits Past or Rebecca's cause it's something that you would like to remain unsaid till the day that maybe we could get a movie or new episodes. I can tell TaleSpin was your baby and you loved this show as much as we fans do, and I hope you could get a chance to finish what you started one day.

I was actually wondering another question. In resent years I wrote a fan fiction for Kits Birthday one version of it any way that had Kit taking part in a magic act as mostly an assistant for a fan character I created named Melissa Aka sister of Rebecca and through adoption, Kit's Aunt.

So I was wondering seeing that you did an episode of Goof Troop with Max as a magician, would you have thought if it had come up, to do one with Kit?

If so, would you have had him more as a assistant helping in tricks or like Max, trying to be like an actual magician? Seeing Kit was always in some different situations. In many episodes I was just curious as to how if that script had come about, how you might have done Kit in a episode like that? Just curious.

Kit was always my favorite and I really wanted to see him have a full family and I thought of adding me as his cousin, cause as you can see by the picture I posted with the Profiles yes I do very much look like Kit. I thought would add that. Thank you again Sir.

I can understand your desire to fill in Kit's background and family. That's the fun part of fanfic - you can go in any direction you want. But always remember... fanfic is an "alternate universe" to the actual canon of the original series. True, some fanfic is very good and might even be totally in line with episodes I would do in the future - but the additional of sisters, cousins, lost grandpas, etc. is totally fan invention.

As for magic, I'm assuming you mean stage magic or illusion - not real magic. (I don't see "real magic" as part of the Tale Spin universe, though it WAS in the Duck Tales universe.) Kit has been the sidekick or assistant before (like when he ran off to work with that daredevil pilot), so I could see Kit as a magician's assistant. But he's a resourceful kid, so I imagine he could throw together his own magic act with himself at the star. If the series had run longer, I could see a magic act being one of the possible episodes.

Kit_Lee asked me to reply for him, here's what he asked me to say: Jymn thank you for your reply and thank you for liking the Idea I as you felt Kit could have very easily have been a magician or an assistant so that is why I came up with the original story for his 13th Birthday. Though the second draft was done at a different angle I keep some of the original in it as well. On relatives like My self character Jeffery he is purely as you said fan created as my self as Kits Cousin. Melissa His Mom is Rebecca's fan created sister and Kit's aunt. cause I feel that Rebecca had family we didn't know of but again it is very much fan created, If you would like to read there profiles its above the story I had My friend Kc5 post the link for. as I've mentioned I love Talespin as much as any fan, and your self sir. and I thank you muchly for loving the Idea. And yes I was talking of stage magic, and Illusions. In fact I have a drawing a friend did for me of Kit as a magician. that I'd like to send to you as a personal Gift . as I said a friend of mine did this for me as a idea of what Kit could have looked like as a magician. the link says my self characters name Jeffery me in Talespin,but its really more Kit.
