Okay for years, my now 23 year son claims that Santa didn't ever come through on the Louie's Place playset. He says there was one made but Santa told me he doesn't recall one either.  This has been an ongoing "joke" in our family but our son continues to say there was one made.  Do you know if there was?  I would love for Santa to finally fulfill a request made by a 4 year old years ago.  Thanks

Nope, never was a Louie playset.... or ANY playset for that matter. Disney was very *ahem* non-agressive about its Tale Spin marketing. (And when I say non-agressive, I mean chicken-shit lazy. It was very disappointing.)

Thanks Mark. I'm sure that the Higher for Hire set would have been the first too but can't argue with the memories of a son who really loved this show. I may never tell him the harsh truth though ... that there never really was a Louie's Place playset ... thanks again for the post. I knew I was not crazy but I went crazy trying to find it one Christmas.

I wrote an article on the Tale Spin toys, and I never heard anything about a Louie's playset. It certainly never appeared in the 1991 or 1992 Playmates catalogs. Besides, if you were going to do a Tale Spin playset, wouldn't you make Higher for Hire first?
