Basic Information

The Rubies are a group of Ruby soldiers, sent by homeworld to find Jasper. Although each Ruby has it's own personality, what's true in all of them is that they're not the brightest of gems, and are tricked several times by the Crystal gems, and very easily.

When Steven meets the Rubies, he decided to give them names based off of the placement of their gems. From left to right: Army, Navy, Eyeball, Leggy and Doc.

Doc is the clear leader of the group, and takes charge in most situations.

Army is very easily angered/aggressive, however, doesn't seem to do much harm despite this

Navy seems the calmest of the group, and appears to be much more sweet and blissful than the others

Leggy is very easily confused and disorientated, and easily startled.

Eyeball is hardened veteran of the war, and witness the shattering of Pink Diamond. When Steven is left floating in space in "Bubbled", she is the Ruby he is trapped with. Determined to bring back the gem of Rose Quartz, she attacks Steven, leading to him abandoning her in space to protect himself.
