Basic Information
Garnet is the stoic leader of the Crystal Gems (after Rose Quartz gave up her physical form). She is often quiet, but wise, and acts mainly on intiution as opposed to well thought out processes.

Garnet is a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, and unlike other fusions, Ruby and Sapphire are permanently fused together. The two have a strong, romantic relationship, and never want to be apart: because of this, they almost always stay fused together so that they're never apart from each other.

Garnet appears to have an especially soft spot for Steven, despite otherwise being stoic and (sometimes) rather cold. Though she doesn't play to his shinanigans as much as Amethyst, she is definitely much more leniant with him than Pearl.

Species: Gem (fusion)

Appearance: Garnet has dark-red/pink coloured skin, with black/squared hair, and a blue/pink visor (which covers three eyes: one blue, one red, and one a purple mix of the two). She wears a body suit, the chest covered in a pattern resembling a star, and the rest of her body split down the middle with one side a violet blue, and the other a deep purple. She also has purple shoulder pads, with matching elbow length gloves that cover her middle finger. Her gems are located on her palms.

Fusions: Sardonyx (Pearl/Garnet), Sugilite (Amethyst/Garnet) and Alexandrite (Pearl/Amethyst/Garnet)
Weapons: Gauntlets
Abilities: She can shoot her Gauntlets off her hand like rockets, swim through lava and can generate strong electrical currents in her hands. She also has "future vision" (inherited from Sapphire), but can only see paths and not what is certain to happen

• Garnet's fighting and dancing style is based off of "waacking" - a form of dance created in Los Angeles LGBT clubs in the 1970s
• Rebecca Sugar says that Garnet enjoys listening to Estelle (who just so happens to be her voice actress!)
