Whilst I was on the carriage to pulls trains, I encountered many different horses. But there was one that intrigued me the most.
I was carted onto the indivual cart, and behind the wooden beams I could see a dark horse hiding in the shadows.
'Hello?' I neighed.
He didn't reply.
'Why are you behind beams?' I asked
'Because they don't trust me enough. I used to buck and kick. When I had it in me. I made escape attemps.' it replied; it's vice was croaky and old, yet had some majestic ring to it.
I looked at him. What I could see of him anyway. He looked so old. I couldn't imagine him bucking or kicking. He read my mind.
'You young ones have it easy. You don't have to worry about your legs giving way any minute, and getting shot.' he grunted, owing his head. Then I saw the many scars down his muzzle. 'Grim.' he shuddered.
'Why did you try and escape so many times?' I asked.
'Isn't it obvious? A horse is built for running, not pulling the Two-legged beast called Trains. I wanted my family. My son.' He said, his voice quivering with rage. He stamped on the floor with a hoof. I felt so bad for him.
So I passed him some hay. he left it, then turned around to sleep.
