don't leave me

here is the story

Rain and Spirit were taking a walk together when Rain suddenly went in labor. She was in a lot of pain and Spirit stayed by her side until finally she gave birth to three healthy colts. But Spirit saw that her breathing was slowly fading. "Spirit?" she asked. " is it over?"
"yes." he told her. "we have three sons" Rain then looked at her three little foals. "They look just like you." she told Spirit. Suddenly her heart beat started to go really fast, faster then it should. Spirit watched her with tears in his eyes. "no" he whispered. "please. Don't leave me. Rain." The dying mare looked up a him for the last time. "We will be together again." Her breath then slowly faded away. She was gone. "Rain." Spirit whispered.
