"Why don't you like me?"
*FLIIIGHHHTTTT!!!* A young pinto colt called to his older brother. The dark stallion froze, then turned to walk away from the brat.
*No, wait, Flight! Please wait!* The colt called desperately. Flight only stood with his back to the colt, eyeing him warily.
*What do you want, you little brat?* He demanded harshly, wanting to leave as soon as possible. The colt put his ears back, the smile fading from his face as tears welled up in his eyes.
*Flight, why do you always act like I'm a pain in the tail? Why don't you like me? What did I do wrong?* He asked, backing away. Flight tossed his head, snorting impatiently.
*Mother and father always liked you better. Now run along, little prince, before the king and queen blame me for your absence.* He spat harshly, turning away and beginning to plan his escape from the herd.

As soon as I can, this fella will be up and Fight or Flight's bio will be updated a bit. And even though it doesn't seem so, Flight does indeed care about his brother, but he knows their parents like the younger colt better than him. This is what ultimately drives Flight away from his birth herd, and what leads to Flight's cold, uncaring nature.
