" You shall not.. " - Flash & Senturia & Echo.
The sun glared down on a young yearling colt who had his head carried low, follwing behind Flash's herd. The colt, who looked much like his father, was named Echo. Echo's mother kept looking back to the un-weary colt, and she would neigh quietly to him everyonce in awhile. The rules for Echo was, he wasn't allowed to speak to any mare at all times. Unless emergency or permission from Flash. Senturia worried almost to death turned around and nuzzled her son gently. " Momma, why do we got to live with him?..." Echo asked under his breathe. Senturia paused for a moment then closed her eyes and dropped her head " Because I love him.. ". Flash heard the two over talk and punished Echo for breaking the rules.
