They all stared, some even whispered to one another. Everyone in the herd had heard Oni's signature whinny, telling that he was fast approaching, but they couldn't believed it. Until now.
Corena smiled at her son Oni.Darkness was not surprised that his son was alive.
Jewel stepped forward. She was far more shocked than the rest. But Jewel's daze quickly turned to joy when she saw him.
It was true! Oni was home! After everything, Oni was okay!
Oni's hoof stepped onto the green, glistening grass. It was Oni's grass. Oni had grown up with it. It was so good to be home.
