Protecting the Herd

Part of my RP with Valliemoo.

Ice has found Ardid alone in a blizzard and brought her back to his herd, who are sheltering in a cave. But the white stallion that attacked her before Ice found her has tracked her down to the cave, and now Ice must fight for his new mare and his family in the growing snowstorm...

I'm pleased with how this turned out. The rest of the herd are out of sight further on in the cave; I couldn't fit them all in. Please also excuse the lump of ice seemingly falling on my dappled stallion's head: just pretend it's part of the cave wall or something ^^;

Thanks guys. DN: I hope to make more images of herd at some point, it's just a lot of effort getting them all in ^^;
Val: As soon as it was revealed in our RP that the herd were in a cave in a blizzard I just knew I was going to make a picture of it with this background ^^;
