The young silver dapple mare stood, the moonlight shining off her soft, satiny coat. Her blue-green eyes were raised questionaly to the star-filled night sky, and the image of a handsome buckskin pinto stallion flashed through her mind, his sky blue eyes twinkling. Angrily she shoved the memory away and lowered her gaze to the ground, her ears drooping to the sides.
