Bride slowly walked up to her friend, head down with tears in her eyes. Coffin saw her and immediately ran to her.
"Bride? What's happened?" He demanded gently.
"I-I'm sorry, Coffin. Ash is gone...a cougar took him. It just dragged him off like he was nothing...I tried to stop it, I did, I just..." Bride began sobbing.
"Shhh...it's okay. We'll find him. It's not your fault." Coffin nuzzled his friend comfortingly.
"It's not your fault..." He said again, leading her back to the herd.
