Saying Goodbye

Keira's stable lad was troubled by the poor way she was treated by her mistress, so when she was sold to the mistress's friend, who was just as bad, the boy took it upon himself to rescue the mare and set her free. Whilst her old home wasn't great, Keira had a great deal of affection for the boy, and was saddened to leave him. Both parties said goodbye sadly, knowing they'd probably never see each other again.
