Design Request ~ Elkie
Elkie asked for a champagne dun mare with a dark muzzle.
I designed this mare as an amber champagne dun. Looking through Google for references, many of the champagne duns I found had guard hairs in their manes, tails and forelocks, and I liked the contrast between the light and dark hairs so much that I included them in this mare's design. I also gave her a star just to give her coat a feature.
