Pure Hearted

Keirran was patrolling his lands, keeping an eye on his herd and his territory. Suddenly he spotted the extreme overo filly, Favorita, innocently playing in a beam of light. Stopping in his tracks, Keirran couldn't drag his eyes away from her as she span and danced, oblivious of him and the world around her.

Kierran's so serious, and Favorita is so playful that the two of them seem to balance each other out nicely. Perhaps Favorita might just be able to get him to lighten up one day ^^

Surely Keirran's dam would have to carry the silver gene, since Keirran is a silver grullo and there's no evidence of silver in Spirit's gene pool.

striders sire is a gurllo dam a black, essys dam a buckskin

i can help with the colours if you like so far i got most the details since hes spirits son i guess he carrys red from essy but what dun factor DD or Dd its up to you the dun factor effect how much of a chance of it to be a dun/gurllo

also need to know if the dam carrys the silver gene at all

No, Keirran is a solid Silver Grulla. But correct me if I'm wrong, but Keirran is Spirit's son, I know of only Strider and Esperanza, so I have no idea what patterns could be lurking in Keirran's genes.
