Big Brother

Meridian was only young when her big brother was taken by white men for the railroad project. Thanks to Spirit he was able to get free and return to the Lakota tribe and his family. By then, Merri was over a year old. She never forgot her brother, though, and was overjoyed to see him again when he came back.
