Missus Art asked me to make an updated picture of Leopold with more leopard Appaloosa-like spots. Hope you like it, Missus ^^
For those of you a little unfamiliar with Gimp, I’m going to run through how I made this picture. First, open a new layer, set it to ‘Multiply’ and colour in your horse’s base coat. Then, using the ‘Spatters’ brush, add the spots. But here’s the clever part. Using the ‘[‘ and ‘]’ keys on your keyboard, you can make the sizes of your brushes bigger or smaller. Just hold down the [ key and the brush will get smaller, and hold down the ] key and the brush will grow bigger. If any of the spots go outside the outlines, simply erase them.
