Poor Shah!
Unlike Spirit, Shah likes people and is very tame. He didn't want to be freed, but when all the other horses ran away, Shah got caught up in the action and ran free with the others. He wasn't part of the military either... he was only there to drop off mail (he's a pony express horse).
