''You can't blame him...''

''You can't blame him...''

''Hotspur, the foal didn't do anything wrong,'' Cinnamon turned away from the two foals that were playing together in the field. She had pulled Hotspur away from the herd, worried.
''But... Rhineland. That mare hurt my daughter....'' he looked away.
''She may have, but her foal didn't. She didn't want him - otherwise, she wouldn't have left him.''

--------
Just a little scenario. I'm sure that Nightmare would have hurt Rhineland in some way when she left her foal with Hotspur, and I figured that he would, in part, fear the foal may be the same way. Luckily, he and Rhineland get along quite well, and Cinnamon there was a much more logical view on the issue.

And back there, you can see Jazzy and Euphorie. See 'em? Way up on the hill? Yeah, that's them.
