Alone in Oblivion
''H-hello?''
''Is anyone with me?''
''Does anyone know who I am?''
''What happened to me?! Hello!''
The scarlet mare screamed out into the dark for answers, all to no avail. She hung her head, close to tears, for she truly had no idea who she was, where she was, or what had happened to leave her alone in her mindless oblivion. The only thing she could remember was a name: Evergreen.
She tried to dig up a memory, a thought, a face, but there was nothing. Her mind was a black mass of nothing. She tried as hard as she could, but all she got was a pain in between the eyes that refused to subside.
''Help...'' She cried in a broken whisper, closing her eyes against the mighty blizzard wind.
The red mare was troubled. How was she to move on in this life is she had no idea...of anything? Anything but how to survive and...the name. The name Evergreen. With a furrowed brow and a fresh determination, she called herself by this name, for she knew she would never know who she had been or who the real Evergreen was. She decided to start anew, to create a new life to replace her old one.
And this she did.
