Zephian!” Espian yelled. “Where are they taking our children!” “They are being sent differently to different places!”Espian yelled. “Relax. Wolf is strong so he is being taken to the driving school. Sweet,or Alleana (not said),  is intelligent and well mannered so she was sold to the cavalry. They are both already 9 months old so they are fine.” Zephian calmed Espian. She breathed slower now, but some-thing kept her heart beat high. She had noticed stable hands yelling. She knew one of her foals had escaped. Wolf kept on running, until he reached exhaustion. He then grew up wild with his foster mother when he forgot who he was after blacking out.

Wolf awoke to frantic neighs, not the dream. He ran to see me foaling. One little paint mustang boy, with solid black ears and muzzle, and a white star on his left green eye. That wasn’t it, a baby girl followed her brother out. She had emerald green eyes like her brother but with a moon on her eye instead of a star on a solid black coat with a brown fore-lock and white, spotted ears. I stared in awe at my foals. I encouraged them to stand and they stood like pros. I had the same dream as Wolf that night. I had called Lasso to me because of sharp pains in my belly that had stopped my dream. I had to give my foals a name. The girl is, ………… Chrysanthemum! The boy is, ………. Nanuk! Yes, those are perfect! But the joy fades very soon. The sound of the cavalry, they have come to take the herd.

We couldn’t leave her alone, me and Lasso. We refused to leave Aleana unprotected after the foaling. Sephian had ran with the herd with Asali at her side. She was forced to run by me, I told her that something was keeping me to protect this exhausted mare. They took us all. I was in ropes along with Lasso. Aleana’s foals were put on the back of one of the cavalry horses, and his rider rode Lasso, who knew how to carry a rider due to his time in cavalry. Aleana got up with little strength she had after birthing. She was lead in a lead rope by an old friend cavalry horse and her soldier. When we were in the cavalry, I was put to a post next to Lasso. Aleana, having had twins, was put in surgery. The next day, the foals were put with Aleana to suckle. Aleana had planned the escape again in her sleep. She made sure every-one was asleep and nudged her foals awake. She opened the stall and got her foals to follow her. She had no Lasso to break the ropes, and had never done it before. While she was thinking about this, I awoke and told her to bite them. She got us all out and we ran to the gate. When we had jumped, we noticed the foals could not jump. Aleana and Lasso broke the gate and allowed the foals to squeeze through. We ran to the cave we found at the first escape, and dodged the cat’s skeleton. We rested and found our way back to the heard and every-horse cheered. It seemed like every thing was fine. But where was Spirit?

“Where is Zephian?” asked Espian’s owner. “Where’s Espian?” Espian and Zephian heard them exclaim. Espian had told Zephian her suspicions and they ran for the colt. They had searched for eight days when they gave in. They wanted to get back home but were lost in the woods. They found a place to call home. It was a small waterfall with rocks and luscious grass, greener than a leprechaun’s hat. They lived there, sheltered by the trees in winter, and cooled by the waterfall’s mist in the summer. They lived there ever since, grieving their lost foals.

I awoke, more steps to uncovering who the young filly is. We found Spirit earlier last night in a cave, hiding from the cavalry who had very many horses he could barely outrun when he hid. The cave caved in and he was stuck but Wolf got him out. Wolf ran up to me saying he had good news. I got up and asked what was it. “I know who and where my parents are!” he said excitedly.“My parents names where Espian and Zephian!” I knew that he must be having the dreams too. But if they were his parents, then why did I have the dreams? I told him I would come with him too find his parents. I walked to Lasso and nuzzled him. I told him to watch the foals while I was gone. I told Spirit we were leaving and he nodded to our decision. Sephian and Lasso were also notified. We left after that. I had the dream but I couldn’t figure out why. Just then, “I have a sister too!” it was Wolf. “I know Wolf. I think I’ve been having dreams about your life. We heard water in the distant woods. We ran towards it and stopped to hear neighs of suspicion. “Could it be Zephian?”it was Espian. “I don’t know Espian. It smells like our foals.” Wolf ran towards the sounds but I stayed behind to watch. “It is Wolf, Zephian!”Wolf was still running. These horses hugged each-other’s necks so very tightly. I watched in amusement and sadness to my parents. I wonder who mine were. Just then Espian spoke. “Where’s your sister Wolf?” “I don’t know mother.” he expressed quite sadly. “I smell her in the woods!”she exclaimed. “Where? I only smell Aleana!” “Yes! You smell your sister! Have you forgotten her?” Something came to my mind. The filly in the dream was me! I ran to my parents and hugged them tight. “Oh, Aleana!”they called through tears of joy. “I remember everything now Aleana!” said Wolf. “We must bring them into the heard! They can meet our mates and foals!” As he said this, Espian and Zephian were astounded to hear they had grandchildren. And even better, their own children back after 3 years! When they got to the herd, three young foals and a stallion and mare walked towards them. Espian was very proud. I nuzzled my long lost brother and nuzzled and introduced my mate to my family. Wolf did the same. Zephian was most proud of his grandson, Nanuk. He insisted in him being an excellent jumper. Espian was interested in the fillies, saying they would be in beauty contests when they grew like her. Wolf and I stood by our mates.  We shared our parent’s joy. Just one little problem remained. Zephian and Espian wanted to go home.

The next month was spent saying goodbye to the herd who raised Wolf and Sephian and journeying to the small ranch they called home. When they reached the ranch 15 miles away, their ranch owner vowed to never sell another horse she had for as long as the ranch stood. Sephian and Lasso had decided to live with their mates and foals on the ranch. Nanuk is now an expert jumper. Asali and Chrysanthemum were now pro beauty winners. They all lived in the ranch as a happy FAMILY.                            End.

It was an awesome story, but it keeps going from first person to third person in a paragraph. You also could have used more detail, but otherwise the plot was great!:P
