"Run!" Cade yelled as the men came at him and Twi. He looked at the mare, she was really pretty, her grey eyes picking at his memory, but before he knew who the mare was she was running beside him, ears pinned to her head as she gained speed down the hill. Cade was shocked to find she was ready to be bred, he would get to that later once he got pretty mare to safety.

Spirit Walker ran around, frantic, he looked around for his neice, finally spotting her running next to a dark grey stallion, he followed them. He didn't like the feeling he got from this stallion.

Twi looked behind her as she ran, making sure she and cade had lost the humans, they had. She looked up, Cade was leading her to a thick part of the woods. She didn't know she was ready to be bred.

Cade slowed down, time was time for him to mate with pretty mare. He waited for her to start grazing, before he walked behind her, and mating with her. Before he knew what was happening, he found out the pretty mare knew his name.

Twi was appalled. She snapped at his neck yelling, "Cade what the heck are you doing, you idiot?" She kept throwing insults at him.

Cade blinked, not hearing anything from Twi, his mind taking him back to a time when he was still teaching her social skills, how her grey eyes sparkled when she was happy or up to mischief. The way her eyes shone when she was listening to a friends problems, then way she could see perfectly, dispite being half blind. Cade shook his head, knowing now that he loved her, really loved Twi since they were foals, what had he done to her, to make her say such things to him. Then the shocking truth hit him,he was the one to make her.

Spirit Walker heard Twi, and ran to her, rearing up at Cade. "Back away from my neice you Scourge." Spirit Walker bared his teeth, Cade had no right to be near Twi, his brother had said so.

Cade layed his ears back, backing away, his dad had told him to stay away from this stallion with the blue paw print on his neck. Cade looked at Twi one last time before galloping off, not knowing she watches over his everyday, wishing she was in his herd as a friend again.

Twi glared, walking back to her home, avoiding walking close to Cade, knowing he didn't care, she broke through the trees before he did, breaking into a breathtaking gallop.

Cade blinked and stopped watching Twi till  he couldn't see her pretty gallop no more, he sighed, looking up at the horse shaped clouds, just knowing two of those clouds were Spirit and Esperanza. "Dad? Can you ever forgive me for what I did to you and grandma?" Cade asked the clouds. He sighed, looking at the three eagles, one had to be his dad's old friend, then two new ones just showed up a few days ago, and ever since Cade felt as though he was being watched.

Twi made it to her home valley, laying down next to the stream, listening to the sound of the running water. She slowly drifted off to sleep.

Reginald looked around, he was a yearling, looking for a safe place to live, he ran into a herd full of mares, and a dark grey stallion, named Cade. Reggie layed his ears back when Cade bared his teeth at him. Reggie looked up at him, not yet at his full height yet.

Cade looked down at the yearling male, rearing up, but seeing the look on the horse's face, dropped down again, he wasn't in the mood, trying to push his feeling for Twi back to whereever they had been for years now, and failing.

Twi woke up, wondering what the heck happened, then remebering, looked at her sides, hoping the breeding was unsucessful. Somehow knowing it wasn't going to be happening.

Cade sighed, and looked at Reggie, who was sleeping near a mare you had lost her yearling colt last week, he would train the colt and the kick him out, he knew this colt would need it more than he knew. He knew he was not born wild.

A year passed and Reggie had trained faster than Cade had thought. Reggie had turned into a fine leader, and stallion, even Cade was jealous of Reggie. But Reggie shocked him, Reggie told him he was leaving to find his own herd or mate. "Whatever you think is best Reg. You know I would have to kick you out sooner or later."Cade said.

Reggie nodded and nipped the shorter stallions ear playfully the last time and left, looking for his spot in the wild. Running into a chestnut colt, with a small star, a stocking, and two socks on his legs. The colt seemed to be alone, so he took it under his wing.

Twi led her foals, Grey Rose and Ash's Remain to another part of her valley. Running into Reggie and a colt. The foals ran to play in the stream. Twi grazed, away from Reggie. Looking up with the foals whinnied suddenly, a herd of buffalo were going to the summer grazing grounds.

Cade looked at his herd, and  scanning the hills. He sighed, and wondered if Twi did have a foal he had sired. He thought he would go find her in a few weeks.

Twi then led her foals away from where they were at, leading them away from the life she was used too. She needed a herd to raise her foals in, she was tempted to go ask Cade, but she thought he still hated her, so she and her foals walked on the hills. Avoiding Cade's herd and his sight.

Twi and her foals walked for miles, soon stopping to rest and feed her foals. They were near a hunter's camp, unknowingly being watched, but seeing as she had foals, was not a target.

Cade left a mare in charge and went looking for Twi, walking to the hills, looking for any sign of her.He caught her scent and followed it.

Twi and her foals were on the move again, this time Twi was suddenly shot by a calavry man, dropping, dead within seconds. Grey Rose and Ash's Remain ran the other way, scared, upiing into a stallions herd, who gladly accepted them.

Cade was being chased by the calavry. He looked behind him, he was away from Twi's scent. Then he felt the ropes over his neck and he was pulled to a stop, fighting still. He then was led to a train station, and loaded up on a car with three other Calavry horses. One was talking about how he and his rider killed a grey mare with twins. "You killed Twi?!"Cade asked, anger bubbling inside him. "Yeah, stupid mare is related to Spirit." The horse said. "Your wrong, I am his son, and I killed my own father, and now I'm going to kill you for killing her." Cade said, smiling evily. Attacking the poor stallion, soon dropping him to the ground. "Show you idiot tame horses not to shoot a mare with foals, now I need to get out of here and find my offspring."
