"The foal! The foal!, its coming!!" People shouted as they ran around the stables. It was the middle of the night and shadows covered most parts of the stables though they were quickly chased away as more people with lanterns came in. The stables were not filled tonight for a mother was in labor, the biggest stall held her. People gathered around to watch the spectical the two most prized horses or the area were having their first foal. The foal Tugger would not leave his lady has ahrd as they had tried so they let him stay with her. They were amazed with his tenderness as the two layed on the floor, Juno leaned against him was breathing hard. As soon as Tugger heard them though he looked over at them tensed his ears flattening to his head. What seemed like ages but was only an hour the foal was finally born a small light brown filly. "Shes born! shes born!" Calls were heard all over though everyone quickly quieted as the filly stood up on shakey legs, for a few seconds she stood there seeming confused as to what to do but then she stepped forward letting out a small whine. "ooo's and awe's" were heard all over. Everyone seemed speechless as the foal gazed at them curiously before going over to Juno and her father who were both now standing. Tail twitching the filly started drinking for the first time from her mother who jerked a little from suprise but soon relaxed. "Alright everyone out, leave them to rest! I am sure their was enough excitement for them tonight!" One of the owners called shooing everyone out.

The next few days went by like a breeze the foal had earned the name "Evita" she was adored by everyone but would soon be leaving to her new owners. "Come on get the trailer ready we gotta take her to the dock!" Mr. Fellis called 2 days later. Everyone was bustling about as they brought hay and halters and some treats for Evita, she had been fully weaned at a could days old the weeks old foal was following around the people curiously watching them nipping at them playfully occasionally. "Go take her to say goodbye to her parents why don't you Darla." Mr. Fellis said to his wife, Miss.Fellis nodded and grabbed Evita's halter and led her away towards the stables, inside her parents stood both getting groomed and saddled. Evita jerked out of Miss. Fellis' grasp and ran over to her parents nuzzling them happily none of them realizing they would soon be seperated for a long time, if not for good. Miss Fellis let a few tears slip as the reality of little Evita leaving quietly she grabbed Evita's halter and led her back to the trailer. Leading her into it she hooked the foal up and kissed her nose. "I will miss you little Evita" she spoke softly stroking her head a few times before exiting the trailer and closing it. Evita stood there confused consumed in darkness though she had no fears trusting her owners.

A few hours later Evita heard voices and her trailer was opened strange men stood there smiling toothly at her, some stepped in and unhooked her backing her out of the trailer. "That'a girl." they spoke softly to her. "Goo' bye Evita" Mr. Fellis said as they lead her away from him and up a ramp onto a ship, Evita looked around bewild but didn't fight the humans as she saw other horses and foals standing around or being lead in different directions, some cattle and othe animals were on the ship as well. "Anchors away!!" the captain yelled as the ship started moving away from the dock. Evita whinned softly to some of the foals who looked teriffied.

"Whats wrong?" Evita spoke to them, though the foals stayed quiet, some of the older horses looked down at her "We are being taken from our families somewhere." they spoke to the oblivious foal. "what? no they wouldn't do that!" she stated stomping her hoof. "Are humans wouldn't allow that!" She cried out her heart thumping wildly not wanting to believe them though part of her did.

Days went by since she had seen her home and it became more apparent that she would nto be going back home. Though her loneliness was soothed by some of the foals and a young girl who would come in and pet all the foals and horses, though Evita and the girl seemed to bond over the ship ride. The ride dragged on for days some of the older horses having of died days ago from whatever cause. Leaving one elder horse and all the foals. Finally what seemed like what would never come they reached land. The foals were all lead out of the lower levels of the ship and down a wooden ramp. Looking around Evita's eyes widened at her surroundings excitement went rushing through her at the new smells until some grubby men came up to her.

"This is er right?" A short chubby one asked roughly. The captain of the ship nodded though distain could be seen in his eyes. "This be her alright. Fine filly she be, the finest." The man nodded and roughly grabbed onto the horses halter dragging her practically into a trailer. Evita didn't struggle but was instead curious of the men, not having yet learned some people could be bad. Lightly she nudged the mans shoulder which earned her a hard flick on the ear and harsh words yelled at her. "What'cha think yer doin!?" he then slammed the trailer door shut leaving a confused and slightly shaken Evita
