OMG! I loved it! I loved it!

First off I just want to say that I love the realistic portrayal of how horse herds really act. It kind of educates us, saying that in a lot of breeds of animals there is no 'one mate for life' like how wolves are. A stallion mates with many of the mares in the herd, and I don't think this aspect of how real horse herds act is really touched upon.

Second, I like this story. How Strider died trying to kill the cougar who killed his son. It makes him flawed too because he let his rage overcome him, which led to his own demise. And his relationship with Esperanza was also very heartwarming to read about, and I could not but smile in their scenes together. :3

This is a wonderful story. It actually felt if I was there seeing these happen with my own eyes. I do feel bad for Faith. Losing her father and brother the same night. And Ezperanza losing her beloved stallion. Now we know why she seemed even more upset when Spirt got captured in the movie

Very beautiful story. It is always good to write flashback stories to get deep into the moral of the story and make it to be better understood by the audiences. You have done this quite well. It is also quite dramatical; and I almost cried when both Mountain and Strider passed away. Good drama sequences make stories like this very beautiful and more interesting to read. Very well done, mate. I will agree with the site that this is definately a must-see fanfic. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to read your future stories.
