How I envision Roc and Johanna's first meeting with Lucius, leader of the Ninovan Herd which later became their home.
Roc and Johanna are looking for their daughter Lemenet; they have not seen her for a long time - she hadn't visited their home, the Lakota camp. When they go down to a forest river in search of her, they see, on the opposite bank, a strange brown stallion . . .
