Family Tree
Right, I thought it might be fun to make a family tree lineart for you guys to use. The idea is basically to put your character at the bottom, your character's parents above them, and their parents above them. All the horses facing right are stallions, all the horses facing left are mares, and the foal could be either.
Now, this is very important: ONLY USE ONE OF THE HORSES ON THE BOTTOM ROW. If you want to make a family tree of your character's foal, use a new family tree and put your character on the second row. But the idea of this family tree is that you show the lineage of one character only.
Ok, so here's how you use it; select your character. Next, choose the gender of your character. Then, erase/remove the other two horses on the bottom row, and move your selected gender into the middle, so the line points to it. I've included a mare and and a stallion/gelding, so you can make family trees for both genders. On the other hand, if your character is still just a foal, you can remove the two adult horses and just use the foal in there.
Ok, so now that I've thoroughly confused you, have fun with this tree ^^ I've put up an example in my images gallery, so have a look if you need an example:
