Foal Studies

You know that earlier picture of Jade as a foal with Spirit and Rain? I had to do a little bit of studying on foals before she would look half decent, and I knew that before I started drawing. Here's how to learn to draw something if you're having trouble: 1) print off a picture of the styel you want and trace it, even if it's somebody else's. That won't matter later on. 2) Do an observational drawing, either of a source (picture, sculpture, ect), or a real one. 3) compile your own styel by combining both studies you have created. With practise, you'll be arting away in no time!
