WIP

After seeing the movie "War Horse" I was inspired to try my hand realism. This is still a work in progress, obviously, but I've enjoyed it so far.

Realism is a new step for me, though I would classify my own style as more realistic, it's no "real job."

Fantastic job on the legs!

It was a good movie, only it loses MAJOR marks with me because it was a war movie, which I really don't like. It was still a good movie though, albeit sad. And thanks bunches! I recently learned how to layer on Sketcher and outline a drawing and erase the background image, so I'm MUCH more motivated to work on the drawings that I've sent in. With that, I hope to draw more horses, especially with the few tips that I've learned from working on this drawing and the realistic shading that I was going for. But we'll just have to see!

Lucky... I've wanted to see War Horse since I saw the first ad about it in the newspaper in early December. My mother refuses to see it since it's a horse movie but still haven't found a way to see it...
Gorgeous WIP too. ;3
