XD banshee this was never about the name it was abotu the character itself which is named Strider, who is the orffcal character from the books,and is being cloned on this site, with nearly the same everything but i am glade you finally figured this out I.e the edit of oyu comment. :3

Characters with the same name are allowed. Now if they have the same name AND same design, that's a different story.

EDIT: I searched Strider and all the characters do look the same. This isn't supposed to be allowed.

i do agree even tho the mods dont use the chaters from the books i think they should and it is taking up space just you said

because that what people should have done just made him a nother random character, not "strider" if they wanted to make a mate for esperanza they could have but it didn't have to be strider. XD their are tones of black horses XD and not all of them are strider.

i do agree with you sofiel, the only reason i made a strider is because i had his design in my head for like.... forever! but yeah i agree and if they took mine off i realy wouldnt care i'd just make him another char i geuss

well that would fix the problem kind of, yes the sites do go off of movies and not books and thats why he is not offical, i don't really care if he is offical or not, i just think their should be only one strider on the site, because aparently he's becoming the Saba, dingo, red faced pup and or Kopa of this site, and cloning is just not nice . besides it just takes up space, i don't see why everyone could not just use the first striders profile it's up as public for anyone to use, you can always add a differnt story to your fics and images if you like i mean your reall only using his icon for that stuff anyway. people change rain's, spirit's, and esperanza's background all the time when their hsitory is set XD. you don't need all these striders.

Maybe there should just be no Strider characters altogether and just use him in fanfics/images/vice versa without a character to put in... hopefully that made sense... it would be much easier for the site to make Strider as an official Spirit character, but they say since there is no proof whatsoever from the movie, no pictures or anything, they cannot do so...

XD not made at you i know strider II isn't ment to be The Strider i wasn't counting him in but there still is 3 striders on the site

I did put Strider in Public for a reason XD I used his Bio from the Book because the books ARE OFFICIAL. I don't understand why others are making Striders and it does aggravate me. (And Please note that Strider the II is Spirit's son who was named after him so don't get mad at me please)

It's mainly because everyone has a different ideas to use him. I suggest making ONE strider with a very open BG, and put in Public so that everyone just uses him but then Again I don't know >.>
