Do you think there's gonna be a Spirit 2 someday? I've always wondered if rain and spirit would have a baby. Maybe in a sequel?

It won't happen. Sorry to break some hopes, but :

- Dreamworks doesn't do anymore 2D animated films, and they are making much higher profits with CGI films

- Spirit didn't make a big box office (to say the least)

- No company is doing direct-to-video sequels anymore.

Don't focus on the story side, this is NOT what makes the companies decide to do a sequel

I guess but there might not be much of plot because man has already been introduced as a bad charcter so not many bad things would be able to happen unless spirit's child was shipped to england and saw the cities and blah blah blah so i guess it would be pretty cool if they made a second but the animators would have to do an extermly good job and not get lazy at all

It would be nice if there was a second movie that is more focused on life as a wild horse rather than introducing humans as the villains. I.E. Another Stallion threatening to take over Spirit's herd or Spirit and Rain's foal surviving on their own in the wilderness.

I think they should but it might be a bit samey as there isn't really much they can do in the second which they didn't do in the first
