Okay, where are you trying to paste? ^^ Straight onto your profile? It might help me.

I can't paste anything

Okay, it seems to work differently for me. Did you try Rainbow's way? ^^

I see a small blank box that you can resize

Hmmm....I don't think my way works on every computer, that's a shame. Could you tell me what you can see when you click on "Image", please? ^^

I can't find upload

It should be at the top somewhere. Can you see any "Upload" button? ^^

Oh, and if you wanted to add a picture from a website (give credit of course ^^), you can save it on paint and it will work the same way. ^^ You just go to Document when you are uploading and click on Pictures.

Where is the browse server thing?

To put images on your profile, you first need to click the image icon.
Afterthat, click "Upload" if you want to upload the image from your computer or
click "Link" and paste the URL of your image in the box.

Then click "ok" (Just remember to use images you have permission to use. )

I think I can help you ^^

First you click on the "Image Button (like you did ^^), then when the"Image Properties" box pops up you click on "Browse Server". You will end up in another box with four buttons written; Upload, Setting, Refresh and Help.

You click on "Upload" and it will open up a space which says "Add Files", you click on the "Add Files" button and it will open up your Documents. Then you choose your picture and click "Open" on your Document box. You will see another button next to the "Add Files" button, it will be a different "Upload" button. You click on that and wait, the picture chosen will appear. You now click twice on the picture and you will return back to the "Image Properties" box. Then you click "OK", the picture will appear on the profile space you are editing.
