A question about the mane and tails anyways...
I've noticed Cavalry horse characters on here have full-grown mane and tails...while official Cavalry horses who made an appearance had the Cavalry-styled cut.
Do the people cut the manes and tails to the Cavalry-style when they get to a certain length or do they leave them to grow out?
Some mane and tail styles I see are curly and wavy. Are they made curly and wavy to avoid getting the Cavalry cut or it is the characters breed of horse?
I'm wondering because I'm creating a Cavalry horse, probably going to post him tomorrow.

it is personal choice , the 'cavalry cut' is what western trained and ridden horses often get more so if they are used for herding cattle ,it is done so the whips don't get caught in there manes.
